《臺灣國際期刊》是一份開放存取的、經同行評審的期刊，每季出版三、六、九、十二月份，每年一卷。《臺灣國際》雜志發表的科學論文涉及生命科學的各個方面，包括分類學、系統學、形態學、遺傳學、生態學和進化生物學，從分子、有機體、群落到生態系統的各個層次的組織。臺灣在地理上非常重視東亞、印度-馬來西亞和西太平洋地區的研究。該雜志發表原創研究文章、科學注釋，并邀請或提交評論。

Taiwania is an open access and peer-reviewed journal issued quarterly, in March, June, September, and December, with one volume per year. The Journal Taiwania publishes scientific papers on aspects of life sciences, including taxonomy, phylogeny, morphology, genetics, ecology and evolutionary biology, at all levels of organization from molecular, organismal, community to ecosystem. Taiwania has a strong geographical emphasis on studies from east Asia, indo-Malaysia and the western Pacific regions. The journal publishes original research articles, scientific notes, and invited or submitted reviews.
