圖像分析與體視學(xué)是國際體視學(xué)與圖像分析學(xué)會的官方刊物。它促進(jìn)了對具有幾何結(jié)構(gòu)的數(shù)據(jù)進(jìn)行定量分析的科學(xué)、技術(shù)、組織和其他信息的交流，包括體視學(xué)、微分幾何、圖像分析、圖像處理、數(shù)學(xué)形態(tài)學(xué)、隨機(jī)幾何、統(tǒng)計(jì)學(xué)、模式識別和相關(guān)主題。應(yīng)用領(lǐng)域不受限制，從生物醫(yī)學(xué)、材料科學(xué)、物理學(xué)到地質(zhì)學(xué)和地理學(xué)。影像分析與體視學(xué)是體視學(xué)的延續(xù)。

Image Analysis and Stereology is the official journal of the International Society for Stereology & Image Analysis. It promotes the exchange of scientific, technical, organizational and other information on the quantitative analysis of data having a geometrical structure, including stereology, differential geometry, image analysis, image processing, mathematical morphology, stochastic geometry, statistics, pattern recognition, and related topics. The fields of application are not restricted and range from biomedicine, materials sciences and physics to geology and geography. Image Analysis & Stereology is a continuation of Acta Stereologica.
